Move it March Challenge

Welcome to the Move it March challenge. This challenge was inspired by my last blog post The Big to do. It is about getting all the things done that you keep putting off for weeks, months or even years. Not your normal stuff but the stuff that do not deem important. Sorting out computer files, clearing that cupboard, starting that project or hobby. Unless it plays a vital role in your day-to-day lives it tends to get pushed aside and room is made for the more important stuff.

The thing is, when things get pushed aside they tend to eventually become relevant. As down the line you find that you have too many computer files and you can not remember where you filed certain things; or that cupboard is getting over crowded. When you do want to take time out to sort it out, you either get overwhelmed at the thought of spending a few hours on it or you feel as though that there is something a lot more important that you can be doing instead. Either way it gets pushed aside and you will end up with a massive of undone to do list. Bung that on top of your weekly or monthly goals and tasks and you end up with an overwhelming list that you think that you will not get through. The good news is, is that you will.

How to start?

Easy, first things first write it down. All the things that you have said you were gonna do but didn’t no matter how big or small. Get it all. Create a brain dump in your bullet journal or planner. Or on a piece of paper.

Now only you know how you work and what ways work for you. If you are still discovering what it is, well this will be a great way to help you figure it out. You can incorporate your list with your other goals and tasks and make it happen or you can set aside a time. Whether be two days at a time a day at a time or bang it out in a week. Pending on what you have going on will determine how you will organise yourself.

For me I will be incorporating it into my daily life but with the majority of the time spent working on the big to do. I also have a challenge I be setting myself for my business as I want to inject some productivity on this . It is going to be a busy and I am already 6 days behind as I just thought of this idea yesterday so I have 6 days worth of work to catch up on.

If you are looking to make a difference this month and give yourself a good head start to the first quarter of the year March is the month to do that. Don’t disappoint yourself because you failed to make an impact on your life. I have been in this boat and sailed around that island for too long and there comes a time where you just have to roll up your sleeves and buckle down. There is no magic pill or answer except that once it is done, the satisfaction that you will feel, will be immense. Remember you are in charge.

Less than two days

So this is it my 90 day success challenge is almost over. Right now I am up to my ankles sorting out those papers that you put in a bag for another day and three years and 10 bags later. Well that is me. I might have exaggerated but you catch my drift.

Challenges are a great way to help motivate and push you that little further. They don’t have to be as big as the one I have just done, but by doing them you can see what you have accomplished and what you still need to accomplish in a positive light. It also helps you keep track on your efforts, which sometimes can go unnoticed when you are busy plugging away at your work.

I  do not want to write too much and end up repeating myself on my next blog. Just letting you know that I am still on it right till the very end.

Until my next blog.

90 day success challenge day 35

90 day success day 3590 day success challenge day 35. It’s Monday and my week already is busy. I have orders to fulfill, rooms to decorate, vlogs and blogs to do and ideas to bring to life. It is also the last full week before September is upon us. So this week will involve a lot of planning and making sure I do not stray from my plans in favor of doing other things.

To help me along I have created a work journal. Check out my Vlogs on my vlog page and check out my video’s. I write down all the things that I need to accomplish in the week. Then I break down all what  needs to be done and spread them out throughout the week. If something takes a little longer, I either work on extra time or drop something on my list and put it down for the following week. Sometimes other work might not take as much time and it all works out in the end.

My blogs will be short cause I got lots to do.

REMEMBER: Some days will be longer than others. Doesn’t mean you haven’t worked as hard.

90 day success challenge day 33

90 day success day 3490 day success challenge day 33. Sunday I try and limit what I do. So that being said. im off out with friends. Have a good day.

REMEMBER: Rest and taking time out is important.

90 day success challenge day 33

90 day success day 3390 day success challenge day 33. Whoop whoop day 2 of the second month and I am on fire. Ideas, are being created, tasks are being ticked off and the light seems to be getting brighter. So what do you do at the weekend, this is a tricky one. You have loads to accomplish but at the same time you have other commitments. So how do you fit it all in.

Simple. You have five days that is 35 – 40hrs a week minimum to do the things you need to do. So you have at least 14hrs at the weekend to do house chores and spend time with your family. But if there are those weeks where you really have a lot on and you really have to make those sacrifices, then I suggest breaking those chores up during the week.

To keep on top of things I take a few rooms in the house and by the end of the day into the evening I make sure things are put back and tidied away.

Dishes. I have been so good, every time I go downstairs if there is dishes I wash them up straight away. It has helped me so much. I don’t have to go into the kitchen to see a whole heap of dishes. This also includes cleaning the cooker by giving it a good wipe. Making sure the kitchen surfaces are clear and clean. Things like the floor can be left and can be done a few times a week if you really can not fit it in. Or unless it is really dirty just give it a quick mop.

Weekends I train my brain that it is a time to gather myself and  do the things I am not doing during the week, and that it is ok to chillout and relax. I don’t beat myself up because I am not slaving away at my work. If you are tired, you are not going to get the best results. So keep in mind when it comes to the weekend how you are going to spend our time.

REMEMBER: Time management is essential in your life, if you want to get the most out of it.

90 day success challenge day 32

90 day success day 3290 day success challenge. So this is the first day of the next 30 days and I have my work cut out for me. With only two months left, I can feel the pressure. However, if I continue with my goals and lists of things to do, I will come out of the other side a winner.

As this is a new month, a new month means it is time to reevaluate what is working what isn’t working and start implementing changes. It is a time to reflect on my habits and behaviour as I undergo this challenge.

I know that setting up my challenge took me by surprise by how long it was going to take me. I thought that I would just give myself a challenge and get on with it. Well in the world outside social media that would’ve been the case but as I have put it out there for all to see, there were a lot of things that I initially did not think of. It seems silly in hindsight but that is what going on a journey means, you are not always  able to see what is ahead. With that being said, there was absolutely no negatives, everything was a positive outcome. I  managed to learn from the things that I have done and implemented them on my challenge.

I am happy to say that I have started working on the main reason for this challenge. With this (which I thought was a delay) was teaching me patience.  Although we make plans and goals, set tasks and see the vision we want for ourselves, our route to get there may not be wrong, but there are stops along the way that need to be made in order for you to become better in what you do and to potentially win bigger than what you expected.

REMEMBER: Lessons learnt are rewards earned.

90 day success challenge day 31
