90 day success challenge day 33. Whoop whoop day 2 of the second month and I am on fire. Ideas, are being created, tasks are being ticked off and the light seems to be getting brighter. So what do you do at the weekend, this is a tricky one. You have loads to accomplish but at the same time you have other commitments. So how do you fit it all in.
Simple. You have five days that is 35 – 40hrs a week minimum to do the things you need to do. So you have at least 14hrs at the weekend to do house chores and spend time with your family. But if there are those weeks where you really have a lot on and you really have to make those sacrifices, then I suggest breaking those chores up during the week.
HERE IS WHAT I DO.
To keep on top of things I take a few rooms in the house and by the end of the day into the evening I make sure things are put back and tidied away.
Dishes. I have been so good, every time I go downstairs if there is dishes I wash them up straight away. It has helped me so much. I don’t have to go into the kitchen to see a whole heap of dishes. This also includes cleaning the cooker by giving it a good wipe. Making sure the kitchen surfaces are clear and clean. Things like the floor can be left and can be done a few times a week if you really can not fit it in. Or unless it is really dirty just give it a quick mop.
Weekends I train my brain that it is a time to gather myself and do the things I am not doing during the week, and that it is ok to chillout and relax. I don’t beat myself up because I am not slaving away at my work. If you are tired, you are not going to get the best results. So keep in mind when it comes to the weekend how you are going to spend our time.
REMEMBER: Time management is essential in your life, if you want to get the most out of it.
